Prince Charles giggles as Boris Johnson struggles with his umbrella at a memorial The Prince of Wales is attending the dedication ceremony of the new national UK Police Memorial. The memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire commemorates the courage and sacrifice of members of the UK Police service.  The Prince of Wales is unveiling a £4m memorial to police officers who died on duty. Prince Charles says 'on behalf of the nation I would like to express my gratitude for the sacrifice of those who've laid down their lives to keep us safe   Boris Johnson struggles with his umbrella whilst seated next to Prince Charles at a memorial recognising the sacrifice of police officers who have died on duty. Boris Johnson has told LBC that the police are "indispensable" and deserve to be commemorated ahead of the unveiling of a national policing memorial.

Suspicious package incident in the mail at Asda House All staff were evacuated from the building Suspect package incident Asda House, Leeds, now concluded safely. Package examined by Army bomb disposal experts and found to contain electrical items returned by a customer. The cordon and road closures now lifted and we would like to thank the public for their patience. A LARGE part of Leeds city centre was put in lockdown with buildings evacuated this afternoon as police investigated reports of a suspicious package being found. Great Wilson Street, Meadow Lane, Neville Street, Victoria Road and Water Lane in the city centre were all shut.  West Yorkshire Police said they were dealing with a "suspect package incident" in the mail at Asda House. All staff were evacuated from the building and a cordon put in place.
