More then 27 people were killed after being struck by lightening in India

More then 27 people were killed after being struck by lightening in India At least 27 people died in different parts of WestBengal due to lightning. 11 people died in Hooghly, 9 people in Murshidabad, two people in WestMidnapore, 2 in EastMidnapore, 2 in Bankura and two in Nadia died and several people left injured.  People were killed after being struck by lightening in Indian state WestBengal Nine people died in Hooghly, nine in Murshidabad and two in Paschim Midnapore district following lightening, thunderstorm and heavy rains.  Prime Minister modi has approved compensation of Rs 2 lakhs each from the National disaster Relief Fund to the families of those who died due to lightning in various parts of WestBengal. Injured will be given Rs 50,000
