Plane with 85 people onboard crashed at vicinity of Patikul, Sulu A Philippine defense secretary says at least 17 dead, 40 rescued in crash of military plane with 92 on board. A Philippine military plane crashed in southern Philippines today carrying at least 85 people reported, citing Philippine military chief. Chief of Staff Gen. Ship had at least 41 passengers and 15 crew members when it sank. Dozens of people had to be rescued after a ferry bound from Lombok took on water and sunk at Bali's Gilimanuk Port tonight.  According to the initial report, 41 people were on board that ship although witnesses reported seeing more. Several people were rescued from the water to at least two other ferries. Rescue operation is ongoing.  According to report 53 people were on board the ship 41 passengers and 12 crew. 6 confirmed dead while 44 survivors had been rescued which means that there could be people still unaccounted for. Search effort continues.  It appears that there were many passengers who weren't in the manifest. According to info 3 crew and 3 cafeteria workers. Only about 50, including the 6 dead, have been accounted for.

Indonesian searchers have recovered debris believed to be from submarine KRI Nanggala 402  Lost Indonesia submarine found 850 meters deep in the sea.the wreckage of missing Indonesian submarine was found on the sea floor off the Bali Island on Sunday with all 53 people aboard dead, Indonesian Military Chief Hadi Tjahjanto said Indonesian searchers have recovered debris believed to be from submarine KRI Nanggala 402 that was reported missing on Wednesday in waters off Bali, said the military chief. The deadline for running out of oxygen reserves for the submarine was early this morning.  Communication with the boat was lost four days back, the crew did not get in touch after practicing training tasks in the area of Bali.the Submarine most probably imploded which lead to the death of the crew.
