A massive fire at Troon train station as emergency service attend to the incident Huge plumes of smoke can be seen billowing from Troon train station as firefighters tackle blaze.  Scotland railway authorities said Our Integrated Control team are working to restore some services in a controlled manner, to prevent further disruption. We need to get our trains and crews back into position to do this. Our 1548 Glasgow to Largs and 1648 Largs to Glasgow services will run.Fire services are tackling a blaze at Troon train station. Three appliances are on the scene. A hairdresser's is also affected. All services through the station have been suspended There’s a fire at Troon train station  emergency services are still on the scene. Buses are being put on to get crowds home on one of the hottest days of the year so far.  Emergency services are dealing with an incident in the Troon area. Large police cordon in place after a women's body was found in the early hours of the morning.Police were called to the park on Green Drive at 5.56am on Saturday  A crime scene is in place in Southall Park after the discovery of an unresponsive woman in her 30s. Met Police say they were called to the park on Green Drive. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing.  The victim had sustained multiple serious injuries to his body. UK reports more than 8,125 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hour's UK reports more than 8,125 new coronavirus cases highest since latest February.It added that more than 90 per cent of new Covid-19 cases are now the Delta variant, with new research suggesting it is associated with an approximately 60 per cent increased risk of household transmission compared with the Alpha, or Kent, strain. Nearly 30,000 more cases of the Indian Covid variant have been confirmed in the UK in the last week, new data shows. PHE said today that 42,323 cases of the Delta variant that originated in India have been confirmed in the UK, up by 29,892 from last week.

A Boy has been stabbed to death in Hayes, LONDON A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed to death in Hayes. Police were called to Blyth Road at 8.34 this morning to a fight. Sadly the boy was found with multiple stab wounds and died at the scene MET Police say at 08:34 they were called to a report of a fight on Blyth Road. Officers attended the location and found the boy suffering from multiple stab wounds. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
