Major disruption has been reported on large parts of the UK's rail network today LNER has advised people "not to travel" as services "route wide" are subject to delays and cancellations.

Some railway services across the UK have been cancelled after hairline cracks were found in high-speed trains Dozens of rail services across the UK have been cancelled or delayed after reports of cracks on some trains used by Great Western and LNER.

Due to a problem under investigation, services route wide are subject to delays and cancellations. tickets will be valid up to and including Sunday 16th May 2021 a new reservation MUST be made. Coaches are en route to Edinburgh, Newcastle and York. These should only be used for essential journeys. tickets will be valid with the following train operating companies

East Mid Railway between St Pancras and Sheffield. Further ticket acceptance is in place with the following northernassist between Sheffield, Leeds and York and via any other reasonable route.RailUK between London, Stevenage and Peterborough.
