ANDHRA PRADESH EXCISE DEPARTMENT HAS ISSUED DIRECTIONS To SELL EXPIRED BEER BY CHANGING THE LABLE WITH A NEW DATE OF VALIDITY IF THE CONTENT IS FOUND TO BE FIT FOR CONSUMPTION. 

THE ANDHRAPRADESH STATE BEVERAGES CORPORATION (APSBCL) SENT AN  INTERNAL CIRULAR TO ALL DEPOT MANAGES TO TAKE BACK THE UNSOLD BEER STOCK FROM THE BARS ACROSS THE STATE AND SELL THEM IN GOVERNMENT OWNED LIQUE OUTLETS. 

WHILE BEER BOTTLES having a valid period of consuption were taken back for sale through liquor outlets, the bottles which have crossed the expiry period were sent for chemical analysis.
