US warships fired warning shots at Iranian gunboats during a close encounter in the Persian Gulf on Monday night for the first time in nearly four years, US Navy announced.

Four ships from the Iran's Navy harassed the US Coast Guard operating in the Persian Gulf earlier this month, with one of the ships repeatedly crossing in front of the US patrol boats at very close range despite multiple warnings, the US Navy said.

US Navy reported Iran warships had harassed US Coast Guard ships in Persian Gulf for hours in early April.  This happened while Obama Biden were again working a ‘deal’ with Iran.
