The fire is understood to have took place at Lanark Road Nursery on the city's Lanark Road this morning as fire appliances have rushed to the scene.The incident is understood to be ongoing.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said "We were alerted at 7.19am on Wednesday, May 5 to reports of a building fire on Lanark Road, Edinburgh.
