At least 30 civillians were killed in an attack in Burkina Faso.



At least 30 civillians had been killed and 15 injured in the village of Kodyél Foutouri Komondjari as armed gunmens stormed the village in the east of Burkina Faso in the early hours. 

Locals said the assailants modus operandi was to burn down the houses to force the occupants out to finish them off. The enlistment of certain villagers within the volunteers of the defense for the fatherland VDPis cause of the massacer.

As part of the fight against terrorism, a unit made up of civilians called the Defense Volunteers for the Party was placed on the baptismal font by the Burkinabè authorities.
But this new discovery does not seem to stand out in the face of jihadist groups who no longer hesitate to attack civilians in retaliation.
