At least 4 people were critically injured after a balcony collapsed in Malibu, California



At least 4 people were critically injured Saturday after a balcony collapsed at a beachfront property in Malibu, California balcony collapse in Malibu Saturday

critically injured two people. County Fire Officials report additional injuries, though it is unclear how serious they are at this time.  About 10 to 15 people were on the balcony when it collapsed, sending them falling over jagged rocks and large boulders below, fire 

All patients have been extricated from the balcony and are off of the beach being treated and packaged for transport on PCH. Building and Safety requested.
4 patients transported to area Trauma Centers. Several other patients with minor injuries are being evaluated and treated on scene. The building will be red tagged until Building and Safety can respond on Monday
