The UK is sending two Royal Navy boats to Jersey "as a precaution" after threats of a French blockade of the island's main port.

Prime minister and Chief Minister of Jersey this evening discussed prospect of St Helier blockade They stressed the urgent need for a de-escalation in tensions And dialogue with France on fishing access


sending the navy is bound to help de-escalate things Makes a change from having to scramble RAF fighters to intercept Russians on the eve of a Scottish election though I suppose UK to send two Royal Navy boats to Jersey.

The plane had 5 people on board including the crew and a patient. The plane landed on a foam carpet which prevented it from catching fire. A full emergency was declared for a non-scheduled Beechcraft VT-JIL aircraft on route from Nagpur to Mumbai. The flight carrying 02 crew member, 01 patient, 01 relative and 01 doctor did a belly-landing at Mumbai Airport. All passengers were evacuated safely.
