French journalist kidnapped in northern Mali
A missing French journalist said he was kidnapped in Mali by a jihadist group with links to Al-Qaeda, according to a video circulating on social media Wednesday, the latest foreigner to be taken hostage in the West African country

A 21-second video of which we learned this morning shows the French journalist Olivier Dubois saying he was kidnapped by the Support Group for Islam and Muslims. He asks his family and friends and the French authorities to do everything in their power to get him released.
