Air ambulance makes belly landing at Mumbai airport after losing wheel during take-off from Nagpur

An ambulance plane from Nagpur to Hyderabad was forced to make an emergency landing in Mumbai after it lost its wheels during takeoff. The plane had 5 people on board including the crew and a patient.

The plane landed on a foam carpet which prevented it from catching fire. A full emergency was declared for a non-scheduled Beechcraft VT-JIL aircraft on route from Nagpur to Mumbai. The flight carrying 02 crew member, 01 patient, 01 relative and 01 doctor did a belly-landing at Mumbai Airport. All passengers were evacuated safely.
