Truck collided with group of pedestrians on Power Street and City Road, Southbank



A truck driver is on the run after hitting a group of pedestrians in Southbank, leaving two with critical injuries There were five people hit in Southbank collision. Four men and one woman all aged in their 20s taken to hospital. Two are critical. Truck driver still on the run.
Confronting scenes in the aftermath of a truck having collided with a traffic light and group of pedestrians on Power Street and City Road, Southbank. Five injured, two critically. Police searching for the truckdriver who left the scene. 

Police searching for driver of a truck possibly a tanker which left the scene of a serious crash on cnr Power Street and City Road in Southbank. 

Truck left road, collided with traffic light + 5 pedestrians injured, 2 are critical.  Ambulance Vic says 5 people have been taken to hospital. Paramedics called 2 men, believed to be in their 20s,  taken to the Alfred Hospital with lower body injuries. One  was in a critical condition, the other  serious but stable.

Two men and a woman, in their 20s, were taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with lower body injuries. One was in a critical condition and the other two were in a serious but stable condition.
