Two people have been seriously injured following an explosion at a house in Ashford


Two casualties have been passed onto the care of paramedics, according to Kent fire and rescue. Police say they are working to establish if anyone else is unaccounted for


Two patients have been taken to hospital in London with serious injuries. A further five patients have been taken to William Harvey Hospital with injuries thought to be less serious. We remain at the scene in support of our emergency service colleagues

People are reporting hearing a loud bang in Willesborough in Ashford. Kent Fire and Rescue Service say they are at the scene of a house fire following a reported explosion in Mill View.  

Four fire engines have been sent.A number of people were reported to have been trapped and they were freed by emergency services. 

Officers are working to establish if anyone else is unaccounted for.Fire crews have responded to a reported explosion in Mill View in Willesborough, near Ashford, Kent Fire and Rescue Service said. 

Fire engines have been sent to the scene.A number of people were freed by emergency services following the blast in Willesborough just before 8am this morning, Kent Police said. Officers are now working to see if anyone else is unaccounted for.People are being advised to avoid the area and residents living locally are being urged to keep their windows closed, Kent Police said.

The plane had 5 people on board including the crew and a patient. The plane landed on a foam carpet which prevented it from catching fire. A full emergency was declared for a non-scheduled Beechcraft VT-JIL aircraft on route from Nagpur to Mumbai. The flight carrying 02 crew member, 01 patient, 01 relative and 01 doctor did a belly-landing at Mumbai Airport. All passengers were evacuated safely.
