Active shooter event occurring at Solice Apartments in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia


Police presence is occurring in downtown following a shooting. according to reports show at least 3 people are shot, including an Police officer.

SWAT now responding to Solice Apartments at 710 Peachtree Street Initial Report say Officer down call transmitted at 12:31 pm EST Suspects shot and are reportedly located on the 8th floor SWAT now en route Scene still active Avoid the area 

Heavy police activity in Atlanta at Peachtree St and 3rd St. Multiple streets in area are also impacted.Atlanta is on lockdown for an active shooter warning. All base personnel have been asked to implement lockdown procedures immediately and take cover.

Georgia police Department is investigating a possible shots fired incident at downtown Evacuations underway. There will be very heavy police activity in the area.

Nearby home have been notified to lock down and secure their buildings. The subject has not been apprehended yet and we ask that area residents remain indoors
