A second Australian has died after suffering blood clots related to the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, the Therapeutic Goods Administration says.

A 52-year-old woman from NSW is dead after presenting with a “severe form” of blood clotting in the brain “likely linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine


At Sydney's St Vincent's Hospital, a woman died in intensive care after she was injected with AstraZeneca two weeks ago. Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly today described her passing as an “extremely unfortunate event”.
