Gas explosion leaves 2 dead in Collin County, Texas



Two dead, others hurt in Texas gas explosion The explosion happened in Collin County northeast of Dallas. Officials said the scene is safe but asked people to avoid the area.

Explosion is under investigation in North Texas. The Collin County Sheriff's Office says two people were killed at the site of the explosion near Farmersville, which is northeast of Dallas.

Gas Explosion-Farmersville, Texas Wylie Fire Department, CCSO, Farmersville Police Department, Fire Marshall, DPS Troopers and FBI are on scene near FM 2756 and SH 78 where the gas explosion has occurred. There are multiple injuries including two fatalities. Scene is safe, but try to avoid this area, if possible
