NaftaliBennett the leader of right-wing Yamina party, has become Israel's new prime minister


Naftali Bennett, a former ally of Netanyahu, has been sworn in as prime minister. Bennett will preside over a fragile coalition of eight parties with deep ideological differences. Netanyahu remains head of the Likud party and becomes opposition leader. 

NaftaliBennett the leader of the right-wing Yamina party, has become Israel's new prime minister, unseating the country's longest-serving head of government Benjamin Netanyahu, who had been in office since 2009.

Netanyahu is no longer Israel’s Prime Minister NaftaliBennett has been approved as Prime minister and the parliament also approves a new coalition government

People started Celebrations outside Israeli parliament (Knesset) after Netanyahu gets ousted from power and Bennet becomes the new Prime minister of Israel
