Tornado hits the Czech Republic, causing major damage and hundreds injuring

At least five dead hundreds injured by rare tornado in Czech Republic after s massive tornado hit several towns and villages in the southeast of the Czech Republic

A tornado hit several towns and villages in the southeast of the Czech Republic, leaving up to 150 people injured, rescuers have said.

Austrian and Slovakian rescue units are rushing to assist Czech authorities in the cleanup. Local media report several deaths and dozens of people injured. 

Tornado touches down in South Moravian region of Czech Republic. At least half of Hrusky village has been destroyed. USAR teams deployed, injured and trapped reported.
