At least 17 people hurt in Los Angeles after an explosion inside a bomb disposal truck


Bomb Squad personnel were removing fireworks from a truck moments before it exploded. There are reports of numerous injuries and significant damage

An Explosion rocks Los Angeles neighborhood after illegal fireworks seized, blowing out windows of nearby homes and damaging cars. 

At least 17 people were injured after A bomb squad truck carrying illegal fireworks exploded in a South Los Angeles neighborhood on Wednesday evening the LAFD said.

At least 5,000 pounds of illegal fireworks seized by LAPD from South Los Angeles home 1 arrested the bomb squad is now hauling them away by the truckload. Some of these fireworks are about to be safely detonated on scene.

An explosion completely destroyed the LAPD Bomb Squad’s explosives disposal truck in which 17 injured..
