Multiple people missing after a hotel in Suzhou City China's Jiangsu Province collapsed



A hotel in Suzhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province, collapsed on Monday afternoon with an uncertain number of people trapped inside, the local authority said.

One person is dead and seven are injured after a hotel in Suzhou, a city in eastern China's Jiangsu province, collapsed. Another 10 people are still missing while a rescue operation is currently underway, according to the local government.

As of now, 8 people have been rescued. Among them, one died. Another 10 people have lossed contact. The governor has come to the scene to direct the rescue. The cause of the accident is under investigation. 


A rescue operation is underway.
