Afghanistan Air Force Plane shot down by Uzbekistan Air Defense



Uzbekistan Defense Ministry said An Afghan Air Force Plane shot down by Uzbek Air Defense while trying to Enter the Airspace without Permission. 

Afghanistan Air Force plane out of Kabul has been found after running out of fuel and crashing in Uzbekistan. It crashed as its crew were trying to take political asylum but Uzbek aviation authorities denied permission to land.

Afghan fighter jet escaping Taliban take over was shot down by Uzbekistan Air Defences after violating air space. Uzbekistan is currently hosting large number of Afghan government officials, security forces and civil servants who fled Afghanistan. 

Two military servicemen on plane have been hospitalised in the provincial capital. Sources say 18 passenger flights from Kabul landed in Tajikistan and 28 landed in Termez city in Uzbekistan 

Most of the passengers were airport employees, sources said. These passengers were welcomed in Tajikistan by Afghan ambassador Zahir Aghbar
