Tsunami warning issued Mindanao, Philippines due to earthquake of 7.2 earthquake 




A magnitude 7.2 earthquake just occurred 39 miles east of Pondaguitan, Philippines. There IS a tsunami threat within 186 miles of the epicenter, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

Details released by the USGS indicate that the quake struck at a depth of 50 kilometers at a distance of just 66 kilometers southeast of Bobon, Philippines. Initial readings of the the quake came in at a magnitude 6.1  quake.
