M62 remains closed in both directions after police officer seriously injured in 'high speed chase' 



M62 remains CLOSED in both directions after numerous Police vehicles involved in a serious collision on the M62 overnight during reports of a high-speed pursuit. 

All trapped traffic has been cleared. Both carriageways remain closed for investigation work.The eastbound closure is expected to remain in place until at least midday whilst humberbeat carry out their investigation work. Westbound remains closed at this time, however we are looking to reopen this as soon as possible.
