Russian Twin-engine L-410 plane crashed near Irkutsk,



A plane with 16 people 14 passengers and 2 crew members on board crashed in the Russian province of Irkutsk.The incident took place 4 km south-west of the village of Kazachinskoye according tolocal authorities report.

At least 4 people survived the accident, one of them is in critical condition. 11 people are trapped inside the aircraft and their condition is unknown.After the accident, the plane caught fire and was reportedly destroyed.

A Mi-8 helicopter was mobilized to search for L-410.People from the crashed plane began to shout when they noticed the lanterns in the taiga approaching rescuers. 

L-410 that crashed in the Irkutsk region belonged to the same airline "SiLA" as the An-28, which crashed near Tomsk in July. Possible reasons are engine failure and crew error in fog conditions. The crash killed four people 

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia confirmed that a twin-engine L-410 plane crashed near Irkutsk.According to preliminary data, there are 14 passengers and two crew members on board the plane, the ministry's press service told reporters.
