New 43,941 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the UK in the latest 24 hour period. 207 people have died in the UK within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19, taking the total to 140,041.

A 64,114 non-booster Covid vaccinations have taken place in the UK. More than 49.7 million people 86.6% of the population aged 12+ have had at least a first dose. More than 45.6 million 79.3% of the population aged 12+ have had at least two doses.

Total 264,468 Covid booster and third dose vaccinations have been reported in the UK, taking the total number administered to 6.7 million.
