A Strong earthquake hits Karachi, Pakistan



A 4.1-magnitude earthquake tremors were felt in the provincial capital late Wednesday night, Pakistan Meteorological Department PMD reported. 

Tremors have been felt in different parts of Karachi after an Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 hit the metropolitan - Pakistan Meteorological Department confirmed the earthquake in Karachi with tremors being felt in Malir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Sohrab Goth, and other parts of the city.

The plane had 5 people on board including the crew and a patient. The plane landed on a foam carpet which prevented it from catching fire. A full emergency was declared for a non-scheduled Beechcraft VT-JIL aircraft on route from Nagpur to Mumbai. The flight carrying 02 crew member, 01 patient, 01 relative and 01 doctor did a belly-landing at Mumbai Airport. All passengers were evacuated safely.
