New 91,743 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the UK in the latest 24 hour period, the second highest daily figure of the pandemic so far. A new 44 people have died within 28 days of a positive Covid test, taking the total to 147,261.

846,466 Covid booster and third dose vaccinations have taken place in the UK, taking the total number administered to 28.9 million.
