UK reports another 51,459 coronavirus cases and 41 deaths in daily figures 




51,459 cases of Covid-19 have been reported across the UK in the latest 24 hour period. 41 people have died in the UK within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19, taking the total to 145,646.

The number is lower than yesterday, when 54 new deaths were recorded. COVID-19 global case tally 266,405,882 cases, 5,274,615. deaths and U.S. has the highest death toll with 808,791. 

Travellers heading to UK will now have to have Covid test before their departure in effort to limit spread of virus, government says
