A Strong 6.6-magnitude earthquake hits off the coast of Cyprus



A magnitude 6.6 earthquake took place 47km West of Pólis, Cyprus at 01:07 UTC. It's depth was 2km and was reported by EMSC.

Earthquake was felt throughout the region, including in multiple locations in Israel.

People throughout Israel told that the earthquake was felt at around 3:10 a.m. in cities all over the country, ranging from Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Haifa, Beersheba, Jerusalem and Nahariya.It was reportedly felt as far away as northern Greece.
