Lionel Messi among 4 PSG players to test positive for COVID-19


Lionel Messi has tested positive for coronavirus and has entered self-isolation, his club Paris Saint-Germain announced.

According to the Paris Saint-Germain statement, four players that were tested positive for COVID-19 are Leo Messi, Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico, and Nathan Bitumazala. They are currently in isolation and are subject to the appropriate health protocol, the club said.

Messi already took the vaccine in Franc,he is quarantined for only 7 days, which means if his result is negative before the Lyon match, he will be able to play. Messi’s return date for PSG is likely to be January 20th, depending on how he recovers from the virus, according to Journalist Robin Brenner
