UK has recorded 313 COVID-related deaths in latest 24-hour period


UK has recorded 146,390 new COVID cases and 313 COVID-related deaths in latest 24-hour period

A new 146,390 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the UK. More 313 people have died within 28 days of testing positive, taking the total to 150,057.

The number of people who have died in the UK within 28 days of testing for positive for Covid has surpassed 150,000, less than a year (347 days) after the figure passed 100,000.

Different figures show the total number of deaths in the UK where Covid was listed as a cause on the death certificate is more than 174,000.
