England has recorded 162,572 new COVID cases the highest number of recorded daily infections in the nation since the pandemic began and 154 new COVID-related deaths Data for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will not be updated today due to bank holiday. 

New 154 people have died in England within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19, taking the UK total to 148,778.

The plane had 5 people on board including the crew and a patient. The plane landed on a foam carpet which prevented it from catching fire. A full emergency was declared for a non-scheduled Beechcraft VT-JIL aircraft on route from Nagpur to Mumbai. The flight carrying 02 crew member, 01 patient, 01 relative and 01 doctor did a belly-landing at Mumbai Airport. All passengers were evacuated safely.
