Helicopter crash in the Miami Beach Two occupants have been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Unit and are currently listed in stable condition The beach area between 9 to 11 Street is currently closed.


Miami Beach police department received a call of a helicopter crash in the ocean near 10 Street. Police and Miami Beach Fire responded to the scene along with several partner agencies.

The plane had 5 people on board including the crew and a patient. The plane landed on a foam carpet which prevented it from catching fire. A full emergency was declared for a non-scheduled Beechcraft VT-JIL aircraft on route from Nagpur to Mumbai. The flight carrying 02 crew member, 01 patient, 01 relative and 01 doctor did a belly-landing at Mumbai Airport. All passengers were evacuated safely.
