Putin has begun massive Russian nuclear exercises with a few ballistic missile


Minutes after President Vladimir Putin of Russia announced a military operation in eastern Ukraine, explosions were visible near the city of Kharkiv. By early Thursday morning, several Ukrainian cities were under attack.

A warehouse full of weapons belonging to Ukrainian army exploded. 

Troops are flooding into eastern cities like Kharkiv and Mariupol, witnesses have said.

Air raid sirens have sounded across the country including in Lviv, where most diplomatic missions have moved to and communication systems have been hit by cyberattacks.

Putin has begun massive Russian nuclear exercises with a few ballistic missile launches, the Kremlin says. Russia has the world’s largest nuclear arsenal, with just under 4,500 warheads it’s a very stern signal to the west not to mess with Moscow on Ukraine.

Russia hit sea and land-based targets with ballistic and cruise missiles as part of strategic nuclear exercises overseen by President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart 

Ukrainian officials have claimed that Russian special services have allegedly mined a number of social infrastructure facilities in Donetsk and called on city residents not to leave their homes.
