Flash floods wreak havoc in Pakistan 4.6 million people affected 300,000 homeless over 1100 dead


Death toll from monsoon flooding in Pakistan since June has reached 1,061, according to the country's National Disaster Management Authority.The true toll could be higher as authorities are still trying to reach cut-off villages in the north

Huge relief operation under way as Pakistan flood death toll rises.International aid has begun trickling in as Pakistan struggles to deal with monsoon flooding that has affected more than 4.6million people.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called a multi-party meeting on Monday to mull over the future course of action with regard to devastations caused by floods and heavy rainfall nationwide.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit to the flood-hit region of Nowshera and Charsadda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Monday to review the rescue, relief and rehabilitation activities.
