Terrorist attack in Somalia's capital,Mogadishu.



Several powerful explosions are reported near the Hayat hotel.

At least three explosions have been heard in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu this evening. Some of the blasts took place the busy near KM4 Junction. Mostly Alshsbaab Terrorist are now in charge the current government.

Smoke rising from Hayat Hotel near Mogadishu airport following an ongoing complex attack. explosions hit near the hotel followed by suspected Al-Shabab militants storming the hotel. 

Al Shabab militant group claims responsibility for an ongoing bomb attack at Hayathotel in Mogadishu. Many people are trapped.Two senior security officials wounded in the attack.A sporadic gunfire still heard in the hotel.


Statement by Al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Somalia, Shabaab Al-Mujahideen, claiming responsibility for the heavy attack on Hayat Hotel in Mogadishu, purportedly killing “dozens of officials, officers and security personnel.

Somali Police forces say they have rescued at least 30 people as attack continues inside HayatHotel in the capital Mogadishu.Many people including politicians and elders still remained trapped.Ambulances seen rushing the casualties to hospitals.

Security forces are conducting operation at Hayathotel where terrorists attacked, on Friday. The forces have rescued many people most of them women and children. Precautions are being taken to avoid casualties to civilians during the operation, Police said.
