The Uber driver, upon dropping off a passenger, glanced into the backseat and spotted the explosive device, prompting an immediate call to the police. The New York Police Department swiftly responded, deploying both the Emergency Services Unit and the Bomb Squad to the scene to assess and handle the situation.

Adding to the chaos, anti-Israel protestors were marching through the streets, causing traffic disruptions in the vicinity at the time of the emergency.
